I worked on this project while I was employed by Virginia Lane, VDL Associates LLC. This was a renovation and small additions to a historic home in the old and historic district of Charleston South Carolina. All work and design for this project was required to be reviewed by the Board of Architecture Review, a city agency. The additions were very small and blend impeccably with the existing fabric of the building. Originally a grocery store, the building has been a residence for a number of years. A glass elevator and modern mechanical’s were installed and the interior was completely renovated with new finishes throughout.
